The vacuum generators are characterized by the low-cost purchase price with respect to a vacuum pump. The main advantages of the vacuum generator are:

No electrical connections required
No thermal development, low noise
Small area of floor space required

However, appropriate employment is restricted to approx. 1-2 hours per day, due to the higher operating costs with respect to a vacuum pump. A vacuum pump is certainly the more low-cost solution outside of these time frames.
