The T-slot plate made of solid cast aluminum 5083 is the classic clamping base par excellence. A wide variety of clamping devices is available as an accessory and offers solutions for every conceivable application. Normal M6 nuts can be used as sliding blocks. Alternatively, M6 slide nuts with a width of 10 mm can be used.On the other hand, the thread grid plate made of MDF is unbeatably cheap and easy to adapt to your own needs. Even unconventional arrangements of clamping points are quickly added here: drilling, screwing in the Rampa sleeve, done.
Or maybe a vacuum table? The ingenious discovery that air can be sucked through MDF panels led to a little revolution in the range of clamping devices for hobby machines. With the affordable "Eco" series, vacuum tables are now also of great interest to the amateur.
