The Leadshine CS-D808 is a closed-loop stepper motor driver that solves the problem of step loss in open-loop stepper motor controls and increases system reliability with minimal additional costs. The advanced control algorithm is based on Leadshine’s ten years of experience in the field of stepper motor and servo motor control. With this he operates the stepper motor with reduced heating, noise and vibration. The CS-D808 is extremely reliable and inexpensive and is ideally suited for many industrial applications such as CNC, medicine, electronics, packaging.
The CS-D808 can control 2-phase stepper motors with incremental encoders. Compared to conventional stepper motor systems with open-loop control, a CS-D808 with closed-loop control can eliminate possible step losses, perform position error correction in real time and does not have to hold any torque.
