Pneumatic tool change, air cooled, hybrid ball bearings
The ATCAC-8022 is an HF spindle with pneumatic taper change, designed for the requirements in the fully automated machining of non-ferrous metals, plastics, wood, as well as light steel processing (engraving and light milling work). All spindles in the ATC series have uncompromisingly high-quality workmanship and are designed for continuous industrial operation. Thanks to optimized assembly and manufacturing processes, the concentricity tolerances are less than 2 μm in the taper. This not only leads to a significant reduction in tool wear, but also contributes significantly to very good surface quality and accuracy of your workpieces.
A whole series of sensors monitor the spindle. When the switch-off temperature of 60°C is reached, the temperature sensor opens and brakes the motor spindle to a standstill. The speed of the motor spindle is controlled via an NPN sensor and is preferably used for standstill monitoring. Additional sensors check the clamping, ejection and piston positions when changing tools.
The extremely durable hybrid ball bearings give this spindle an extended service life of many thousands of hours of operation. For increased protection of the spindle bearings even under adverse conditions, sealing air is mandatory for all ATC spindles.
