Instant Milling Kit Basic-Line 1007

No long pondering whether something is still missing somewhere, no laborious weighing up of pros and cons: Everything you need to get started in the world of CNC milling is really included here. From the mechanic parts kit with stepper motors and workpiece support to control and spindle to the range of milling cutters and tool length sensor - even the grease gun has been thought of. The building process of the machine and control system has often been tried and tested and is supported by our hotline and a dedicated forum. All you then need are material and ideas for your first project.

The mechanics are supplied in individual parts for self-assembly. The pictures show the fully assembled state. After completion, the parts set presented here represents what is known as an "incomplete machine" in the EC Machinery Directive. The milling motor's power cable is not suitable for drag chains. We recommend using the socket for the Z-axis or a similar power supply that is decoupled from the movement.

Warning! The operation of this machine without safety devices is not permitted. Serious injuries are possible. The permitted performance characteristics depend on the scope of the protective measures. The "Standard" and "Pro" expansion levels are intended for this purpose. In the standard level, with access protection but without a protective housing, there is a limit to a permissible 2 m/min (33 mm/s) traversing speed and a maximum cutter diameter of 3.175 mm. The milling cutters used must be approved for the maximum speed of the milling spindle (usually 25,000 -1). In the Pro level, with protective housing, the maximum cutter diameter is limited to 8 mm, the traversing speed is not restricted.
