Precise, quiet, reliable
The IHSS42-24-05 combines the strengths of stepper and servo drives in a space-saving, complete system. The integrated power amplifier significantly reduces hardware and controller setup requirements. In closed-loop operation, a high-resolution encoder with a 50 μs sampling rate detects even the smallest position deviations and compensates for them immediately, thus eliminating true step losses. The microsteps are defined once directly on the motor using DIP switches.
Compared to other solutions, the quiet running is astonishing, not only at high speeds. Even during otherwise rough slow running, as well as during acceleration and deceleration, the integrated JMCs behave exceptionally quietly and smoothly.
