Stepper Driver Leadshine EM870S Digital
The EM870S is a new and versatile digital stepper drive based on Leadshine’s widely used DM stepper drives (10+ million units in the field). While maintaining the characteristics of simple design, easy setup, high precision and reliability, Leadshine has upgraded it by adopting the latest step control technology and additional advanced functions for better torque (10-25%), faster response time, smoothing of control commands, easy self-test etc. added.
The EM870S is able to operate 2-phase and 4-phase stepper motors evenly and with very little motor heating and noise. It can take a supply voltage of +20 to +80 VDC and output a current of 0.5 to 7.0 A. All microstep and output current configurations can easily be made using built-in DIP switches. The type of control (step & direction or CW / CCW) and the filtering that smooths the control signal can also be configured via DIP switches. Therefore, the EM870S is the ideal choice for many applications that require simple step and direction control or CW / CCW control of NEMA 23, NEMA 24 and NEMA 34 stepper motors.
- Anti-resonance for optimal torque, extra smooth movement, low motor heating and noise development
