Stepper Driver Leadshine EM882S Digital
The EM882S is a new digital stepper motor driver based on Leadshine's widely used DM stepper drives (over ten million units on the market). While maintaining the characteristics of simple design, easy setup, high precision and reliability, Leadshine has upgraded it by adopting the latest step control technology and adding advanced features for better torque (10-25%), faster response time, smoothing of control commands, motor preselection, etc. . added.
The EM882S is able to operate 2-phase and 4-phase stepper motors evenly and with very little motor heating and noise. It can take a supply voltage of +20 to +80 VDC and output a current of 0.5 to 8.2 A. All microstep and output current configurations can easily be made using built-in DIP switches. Therefore, the EM882S is the ideal choice for many applications that require simple step and direction control or CW / CCW control of NEMA 23, NEMA 24 and NEMA 34 stepper motors.
- Anti-resonance for optimal torque, extra smooth movement, low motor heating and noise development
- Supply voltage +20 to +80 VDC
- Eight settings for output current from 2.1 - 8.2 A via DIP switches, or 0.5 - 8.2 A via software (increase by 0.1 A)
- No-load current reduction to 50% or 90% can be selected via SW4
- Step and direction control (PUU DIR) or CW / CCW (double pulse)
- Pulse input frequency up to 200 kHz
- Configurable control command smoothing to reduce engine vibrations
- Micro-step resolution of 16 Setting from 400 - 51,200 via DIP switch, or 200 - 51,200 via software (in steps of 200)
- Soft start without "jump" when switching on
- Output signal in the event of an error
- Protection against overvoltage and overcurrent
- Auto-tuning and motor selection to adapt to a wide range of stepper motors
- Sensorless detection of an engine standstill
