Oscillating Tangential knife EOT-4
Electrically oscillating, with closed-loop control
The EOT-4 is used on CNC gantry milling machines for cutting a wide variety of materials. While a powerful oscillation motor moves the blade quickly up and down, an actuator rotates the cutting edge in the cutting direction. This means that even solid and thick materials can be cut precisely and quickly.
The EOT-4 is a further development of the proven modules and is equipped with a closed-loop motor and offers corresponding advantages:
- Avoidance of step losses through feedback of the motor position and dynamic adjustment
- Smoother running and less resonant than pure stepper motors; short settling and decay times
- Higher energy efficiency and load tolerance than stepper motors without encoder
- Typically higher torque at low speeds compared to servo motors
Building:
- CNC-made, robust full metal case
- Precision-polished kinematics
- Several times ball-stored impulse engine
- Optoelectrical, apture free of wear and free of touch of the blade situation
- Easy connection to systems from various manufacturers with 43 mm Euro neck mount or via rear thread (6 pieces M4)
