The compressor is advertised as "silent", "quiet", "comparable to normal human entertainment" and having a noise level of "48dB", so I thought it would be suitable for using in my apartment.rnrnUnfortunately, it's not as quiet as advertised. When I measure it (with an iPhone app), it's 60-70dB. Definitely not 48dB. When it's in a room with the door closed, I can hear it through a concrete wall and throughout the apartment.rnrnI can't say how it compares to other compressors but it's not quiet like it says it is. Edit from the Sorotec - Team: as soon as the compressor is back we will check it and replace it if necessary would be suitable for using in my apartment.rnrnUnfortunately, it's not as quiet as advertised. The compressor is realy quit! Verry good!
