AMB FME-P 1050 with quick release tool changer

It couldn't be faster: The tool change system of the FME-U 1050 with the large, red locking bracket makes changing the milling cutter a matter of a few seconds. Extra tools such as a hook wrench are not needed.

Because of the very narrow length tolerance of the ER16 holder, we strongly recommend that you only use the ER16 collets from AMB for the FME-U.

The attachment to the Z-axis of the portal is done via four M6 threads on the back. In addition to the record-breaking mass-performance ratio of 3.3 kg at 1050 watts, the FME-U naturally also offers the quality features for which AMB milling motors are so popular: robust aluminum housing, dimensioning of all components for continuous operation, electronic full-wave control for constant speed at high load, maximum protection against environmental influences and the proven automatic switch-off, which protects the collector from damage when the carbon brushes are used up.
