When it comes to attaching flat workpieces quickly and easily for processing, vacuum tables are unbeatable: place the blank, switch on the vacuum, done - ideally, it is as quick and simple as it reads. So far, however, the comparatively high price has often spoken against use for hobby purposes. But that is changing now.

This is made possible by the discovery that MDF panels are air-permeable. In a sandwich with a substructure with air channels, a workpiece support that offers suction over the entire surface is created - the holes you see in the photos are used for fastening with M6 x 12 cylinder head screws.

The vacuum table Eco comes with all attachments necessary for operation:

• Vacuum sandwich plate 1050 x 610 x 16 mm
• Replacement panel made of MDF
• 20 m PVC hose
• 4 adapters for 4 hoses each on HT pipe DN 40
• 1 HT pipe DN 40, length 20 cm
• 3 T-piece HT DN 40
• 1 bend 90 ° HT DN 40

In most cases a normal vacuum cleaner is sufficient to create the vacuum.
